the residents and businesses of Hatfield Borough and Hatfield Township with two stations and 5 pieces of apparatus.

A #3 is the highest possible rating a all volunteer fire company can obtain. Out of the 2581 fire companies in PA, 142 have a rating of 4 or higher. This puts us in the top 5% in the state.

Venture Crew 1717
Hatfield Vol. Fire Co. charters a young adult program for
men and women 14-20 years of age that live in the North
Penn/Souderton area school districts. This Boy Scout of
America organization that is known as Venture Crew 1717,
teaches the kids about firefighting and emergency care. The
program is supervised by Hatfield firefighters, but the program
is actually run by the youths themselves. They have taken CPR,
AED, and 1st Aid training classes. So far, five crew members
have joined as junior firefighters and two parents joined as fire
police. If anyone is interested in joining Venture Crew contact
the firehouse at 215-855-4719.
