Purchased in 1987, this truck was manufactured by two different companies. The chassis is a Spartan Motors chassis and the rescue body was manufactured by Ranger Fire Apparatus. The chassis was purchased from Spartan Motors and sent to Ranger to be completed. The truck was placed in service in September of 1987.

The truck seats ten firefighters, carries Holmatro Rescue Tools, has a Cascade System for Breathing Air, Command Center with Radios, Fax Machine, Computer and a 16 kw diesel generator with over 8,000 watts of portable lighting.
