Purchased new and placed inservice November 14, 1998. It is a 1998 Pierce Quint 105' aerial ladder on a Dash 2000 chassis.
The truck has a 2000 gpm Waterous pump, 6 kW Amps generator, Carries 600 feet of 5" hose, and seats eight firefighters.
Purchased in 1992, this truck was manufactured by two different companies. The chassis is a Spartan Motors chassis and the body was manufactured by KME Fire Apparatus. The chassis was a demo unit built to Hatfield Fire Company’s specifications and used by Spartan Motors for 8 months as a demo. The chassis was then sent to KME to be completed and the truck was placed in service in January of 1993.
The truck seats ten firefighters, carries 750 gallons of water, has a 1500 gpm pump,1200 feet of 5" hose and a 7.5 kw diesel generator.
